The Take A Break Dispute Protocol

For the sake of clarity, the term Business shall mean Take A Break Limited, Parties shall refer to Take A Break Limited, A Self Employed Cleaner from the Take A Break database plus the Client.

The term Client shall refer to the person or persons who have signed a contractual agreement with Take A Break Limited for the provision of the latter’s domestic, house cleaning service.

Take A Break Limited is committed to providing a high-quality service to all our clients, however, with the best will in the world, occasionally, even in the best run companies, things can go wrong, in such circumstances, we need  any affected party to inform us as soon as practical.

The protocols

All parties involved while exercising fairness in their dealings with each other, should endeavour to resolve complaints, grievances and disputes with good faith as well as goodwill via fair and reasonable communication and negotiation.

The Business shall issue a verbal or written notice in the event of any contractual breach and grant a reasonable time to remedy the default.

The Client shall give verbal or written notice to the Business of any contractual breach and grant reasonable time to remedy the fault.

In the event of a serious or repeated breach, either party may terminate the agreement immediately and any settlement to be reached by agreement or in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

No party to the agreement shall make any public announcement concerning this agreement unless it is necessary to comply with applicable laws or regulations.

What will happen next?

  1. We will send you a letter/email/text acknowledging receipt of your complaint within 3 working days of receiving it, we will then begin our investigation.
  2. Within a maximum of 10 working days of sending you our acknowledgement detailed in ‘1’ above, we will send you a written reply, including our suggestions for resolving the matter.
  3. Providing our suggestion is accepted, detailed at ‘2’ above, we will instigate the action agreed with immediate affect, or as soon as practical thereafter.
  4. If an impasse is reached, all parties agree to make a further attempt at reaching a mutually acceptable resolution or compromise that is acceptable to all parties within a maximum of 10 days from it being decided that our suggestions are not acceptable.
